Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys Privacy Policy

Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys is a toy box app for children aged 2 to 5, for iPhone and iPad. It is made by Dang Nguyen. This page says what the app does with your information. The short version: the app has no ads, no account and no tracking, and it collects no data about your child or about you.

What we collect

Nothing. Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys has no account, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. It contains no code from other companies, and it has no server of ours to talk to. It works fully offline.

If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash and performance reports. They contain nothing that identifies you or your child. You can turn this off in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.

What stays on the device

Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys keeps three small values on the device: whether the shelf sound is on, how many times the app has opened (so the shelf hint stops showing after the first few launches), and whether the unlock was bought (so the toys open offline). Drawings and play are not saved. Deleting the app deletes everything.

Permissions

Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys asks for no permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, location, photos, contacts or notifications. The Bead jar toy reads the motion sensor to let beads pour when the device tilts. That reading is used in the moment and never stored or sent.

Purchases

Three toys are free. One purchase through the App Store opens the rest, with no subscription. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account through StoreKit. Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys asks Apple only for the price and whether the purchase is owned. Apple does not share your name, email address or card details with us, and we never see your payment information.

Buying, restoring and rating sit in the Grown-ups area, behind a three second hold and a sum, so a child cannot reach them by accident.

Links

The only link out of Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys is Rate Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys in the Grown-ups area, which opens the App Store. The App Store is covered by Apple's own policies.

Children

Chimebox: Calm Toddler Toys is made for young children and collects no data from anyone, children included. There is no way to talk to other people, share content or make contact from inside the app.
