Idiomix: Learn Vietnamese Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Idiomix: Learn Vietnamese does not ask you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any other personal details. We do not run our own servers, so no information is sent to us.

Idiomix: Learn Vietnamese does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.

Two Google services in the app collect data automatically: Google AdMob for ads and Google Firebase Analytics for usage statistics. Their use is described below.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows two kinds of ads: an ad when you open or return to the app, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for extra swaps or hints.

To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect device information such as the device model and operating system, your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. If you allow tracking, AdMob may also use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show ads that are more relevant to you.

Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played. It records gameplay events, such as when a level starts and ends, the number of swaps and hints used, the daily puzzle, and opening the notebook. It also records ad events, such as when an ad loads or is shown, and whether you chose English or Vietnamese for the menus.

Firebase also collects basic device information, an app instance identifier, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the game. It is not used to identify you.

Your consent choices

On first launch, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for consent where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and some US states. You can accept or decline. Where this applies to you, the app's Settings screen shows a Privacy options row, and you can change your choice there at any time.

After that, iOS may ask whether the app can track your activity (App Tracking Transparency). If you do not allow tracking, the advertising identifier is not available to the app, and the ads you see are less personalised. You can change this at any time in the iOS Settings app, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.

Data stored on your device

Your progress, stars, daily puzzle streak, hints, notebook, and settings such as sound and language are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and they are removed when you delete the app.

Sharing and ratings

When you tap Share result after a daily puzzle, the app opens the iOS share sheet with a short text: the date, your stars, and your number of swaps. You choose where to send it, and nothing is shared unless you do.

The app may ask you to rate it through Apple's standard App Store review prompt. Apple handles that prompt and your rating.

Children's privacy

Idiomix: Learn Vietnamese is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through ads or analytics in the app, contact us and we will help address it.

Data retention and security

We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data collected by Google AdMob and Google Firebase Analytics is kept according to Google's own policies.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
